Path to Joining an Existing Chapter
Check Availability
First, find out if a TutorDeck chapter is active at your school. Ask teachers, school counselors, or check our Chapters page. You can also contact us, and we can let you know about active chapters in your area.
Contact Leadership
Once you've identified a chapter, reach out to the student leader or the faculty advisor. They can provide specific details about their activities, meeting times, and how to join.
Learn About the Chapter
Attend an informational meeting if available, or talk to current members. This is a great way to understand the chapter's focus, the time commitment involved, and the types of tutoring opportunities available.
Sign Up & Participate
Follow the chapter's official sign-up process. This might involve completing a form, attending an orientation, or undergoing a brief training. Then, you're ready to start tutoring and making an impact!

This is the most important first step! Reach out to us at our official email. We’ll provide you with a starter kit, resources, mentorship, and guide you through the entire process.
Find a Faculty Advisor
A supportive teacher or school staff member to act as a faculty advisor is crucial. They can help you navigate school policies, provide a meeting space, and offer guidance. We can help you approach potential advisors.
Gauge Student Interest
Talk to your friends and classmates. Are there students who want to volunteer as tutors? Are there students who would benefit from tutoring? Present this interest to your potential faculty advisor and to us.
Plan Your Launch
With support from us and your advisor, outline your chapter’s goals, meeting schedules, and initial activities. This includes how you'll recruit tutors and tutees, and how you'll connect with platforms like Schoolhouse.world.
Official Setup & Promotion
Follow your school's procedures for establishing a new club or organization. Once approved, promote your new TutorDeck chapter through school announcements, posters, and social media to attract members.
